Spring 2005 NewsletterIntroduction from Dr. LangSpring 2005 NewsletterGreetings! Welcome to the first edition of "The Healing News," the newsletter for The Healing Way clinic. This first edition closely coincides with my one-year anniversary of practicing here in Brattleboro! I am extremely excited to have made this milestone and can't believe that the time has flown by so quickly. This year has been a process of integrating into the community and doing our best to improve the clinic itself. Diana has helped tremendously in the process of transitioning the clinic from Dr. Jody Noe's practice to mine. She has helped keep consistency during the transition and has been adept with change. I appreciate her help enormously. We are both looking forward to the building improvements that are currently underway. I am working with Lisa Newell, the massage therapist next door, to improve the entry way. We are working on making it a brighter and more welcoming space and will be adding a bulletin board for community postings. In addition, our landlord, Jason Cooper, will be repainting the exterior to brighten up the building and to make it more eye-catching. These projects will most likely continue through the summer so please excuse our mess during construction. I am looking forward to the finished product. Personally, I have spent this year getting to know Vermont and all of you. Although I didn't get in much hiking last summer, I have already planned multiple hikes for this coming season. I survived this past winter with snow-shoeing and I went cross-country skiing for the first time. I can't wait to go again next winter! Thank you all for welcoming me into this community. Many of you have gone out of your way to acclimate me to the weather and the town. I appreciate your warmth and support and look forward to many more years here in Brattleboro. Yours in health, |
